Why EU sizing? EU sizing is based on Paris points - increments tied directly to foot length in millimetres. 6.66m. Because we manufacture in Portugal, EU is our natural primary system.

HOW TO MEASURE AND FIND YOUR LENGTH AT HOME

Nothing fits everyone. Shoe sizing is personal - and it changes over time. Measure your feet regularly, especially during growth. Even after you reach your adult size, check once a year because feet continue to evolve.

The foot length column in our size table is the most reliable way to find your size. Here is how to get it accurately.

1 Place a sheet of paper flat on the floor.

2 Stand on the paper with your full weight on the foot. Stand the way you normally would, not on tiptoes.

3 Trace around your foot slowly, keeping the pen upright, not angled in. Angling inward gives you a smaller measurement than your actual foot.

4 Mark the tip of your longest toe. This is not always the big toe, for some people, the second toe is longer. Mark also the back of your foot.

5 Measure from your heel to that toe in millimetres. This is your foot length. Compare it to the MM column in our size table.

6 Measure both feet. Most people have feet that are slightly different sizes. Always size for the larger foot.

Best time to measure: In the afternoon or evening. Feet swell slightly through the day and are at their largest then. Measuring in the morning can give you a size that feels tight by 4 pm.

BEYOND LENGTH AND WHAT ELSE AFFECTS FIT

Foot length is one part of the story. Width, shape, and instep height all affect how a shoe actually feels. Understanding your feet helps you choose styles that work for you.

Width

Mark the widest points across your toe joints and measure across. Narrow, standard, or wide,  knowing this helps when choosing between styles.

Instep

The height across the top of your foot. A higher instep means shoes can feel tight across the front even in the right length. A lower instep means they may feel loose.

Arch

Flat feet or high arches both affect how a shoe feels underfoot. Removable insoles matter here;  they give you the flexibility to adjust support.

Toe shape

Some feet are narrow and tapered; others are square and wide across the toes. Your toe shape affects which styles suit your feet beyond just the size number.

SIZING ADVICE IF YOU ARE BETWEEN SIZES

Always size up. A slightly larger shoe is far preferable to one that compresses your foot. Feet that are regularly squeezed into shoes that are too small experience discomfort and pain over time.

If your foot length falls between two sizes in our table, go with the larger EU size. You can always use an insole to fine-tune the fit. You cannot undo the discomfort of a shoe that is too small.

Sizing also varies between shoe styles. A trainer, a boot, and a flat will feel different even at the same EU size, because each is built on a different last. We will include style-specific sizing notes on each product page when we launch.

CHANGING SIZE AND A NOTE ON MEASURING REGULARLY

If you are still growing, measure your feet every three to four months. Feet can grow up to two sizes in a year during peak adolescence. Buying in the right size now matters, not just for comfort, but for how your feet develop.

If your feet have reached their adult size, measure once a year. Feet change throughout your life. Pregnancy, weight changes, and simply getting older all affect foot shape and size.
